Why marketers need to involve customers in brand marketing programs
Consumers are more powerful then they ever have been in marketing history. The consumer now has a voice in how your brand is percieved, so why not take full advantage of that? We show you how.
You only get once chance to make this connection with the consumer, so do it right.
Our agile approach to product development focuses on the needs of the consumer.
We then align the consumer need with your brand need to bring a fun and engaging experience to your consumer.
What is agile?
The Agile Project Methodology provides a product development environment in which change is widely accepted. You get many opportunities to assess the direction of a product throughout the development lifecycle. This is achieved through regular cadences of work, known as sprints, at the end of which teams must present a fully functioning feature, for review and testing.
Telling the story
Telling the story of the consumer through the social, mobile and web environment requires a focus on Social Strategy. Our Digital Strategists work with you to define how the consumer will interact with the zapfrog platform. These interactions turn into User Stories that describe each feature from the point of view of the consumer.
In the Telling the Story approach zapfrog suggests a more formal approach to writing user stories. We suggests the format: As a (role) I want (something) so that (benefit). For example, "As the customer I want to submit a photo from my mobile phone so that I can participate in the contest."
Sprint through delivery
A sprint as defined by the dictionary is to run very fast, usually for a short distance or dash: a quick run. We use that definition for our approach to product development. The User Stories are prioritized on a scale of value to the consumer. The high value User Stories are then planned into mini-projects, usually lasting 2-3 days. This allows the team to see how a feature will function quickly, allowing room for change.
This approach builds a very repeatable and controlled project delivery. Teams love it!
